Kenrick said it perfectly. Rez gates are like 8 or 9 years into osi's carebear version of the game.
What is it with folks that just don't understand the explanation on the main page about t2a and old rules???
Sheesh it's getting to the point where people should be required to actually acknowledge reading the main page before being allowed to create an account.
I feel your pain..i know where the healers are and still have returned to a vanished corpse and lost everything hehe. But that's the way the game was designed. It's not a bad idea to group with someone that can rez before entering ANY level of any dungeon.
Better yet, never run a dungeon carrying anything you can't afford to lose. It's a dungeon...it's supposed to be dangerous! It's not supposed to be some easy place to farm gold and fame. This is not WoW.

hey Derrick, since someone already started a thread on this i wanted to ask if you'd be opposed to throwing a Red Healer into Wrong Level 3 since its a really nice area to PVP.. we only have Buc's Den and supposedly Yew Gate (never seen PVP there)- and I always try to duel around something I can rez with: Usually the Chaos shrine
Anyways, T2a had more PVP in dungeons and this could help with that.. just one red healer in wrong lvl 3 since its a smaller room with no crazy digital pixels to lag you up around it- perfect for PVP ;D

I've been hoping to find something to do with that area. I honestly don't remember it at all on OSI and Haven't had time to research it. I'm not opposed to putting a healer down there if it gives the area some sort of utility for now.

If you'll forgive my skepticism, how the heck did you manage to get a castle within a week? Were you dealing drugs?

This would go aginst era, back in the day we had to ruff it out. sometimes even accept the loss of our stuff. Please dont add healers to dungeons.

"Wrong Level 3" isn't actually supposed to exist. It was something added post T2A and should probably be unlinked from Wrong.

I'm very opposed to putting healers anywhere in dungeons.

u guys seem to miss the point of my idea.. its not to heal up dead hunters.. its to heal up pvpers who duel.. too many "carebare osi" comments of u guys trying to be cool..simple solution: don't allow dead people to enter wrong level 3, and Derrick's right,Wrong lvl 3 had nothing in it back in the day.. it was still being developed and eventually was filled with daemons and these rock looking things
If your all so against it then howabout a duel pit? innaccurate?yes- but its for the population.. why not have a gate somewhere linking to a duel pit.

I don't see the problem. If it's a duel why isn't the person you dueled resing you? Normaly thats what happens after a friendly fight.

I highly doubt people will be using Wrong 3 for dueling, as I believe only a few people even know where it is, let alone on how to find the entrance to it.. I would stick to Wrong Roof for dueling, if we even need a desginated area..

yeah wrong roof is good im not saying its bad..
and yes USUALLY the person your dueling resses you.. if your not smart enough to duel somewhere where you dont need to waste regs on ressing.. (ie. shrine or near a healer)
why not throw some kinda ankh on top of wrong then? either way you can do something cool with wrong 3- make it like a special dev area with special monsters or something unique?

I think you guys are missing the point. Derrick doesn't want to add any staff-built areas/items into the game. His entire goal is to make this server as accurate to the T2A-Era as it was on OSI. The players don't always need staff to make things convenient for them, and it's ok to go out of your way sometimes..
