UO Second Age

I was in this morning but now I am having the same problem.

I will also, simultaneously, welcome my entry to the forums; And declare that I also cannot connect.

I Had two clients running this morning, and around noon, one of my character was having errors walking through doors, running south (if I ran north, I couldn't run back down), and random impassible invisible objects would block my treks through forests. What I did to try and correct this,

-Restart my client, after this I could no longer connect. And when I say I couldn't connect, I mean that after entering my user name/ID, once my client would hit the "Connecting..." screen it would take about 3 seconds and I would get "The application is not responding"

-Went on my other client that was happily macroing away! Ran around a bit (no issues, such as lag or anything) and decided for shits and giggles I'd restart that client. Alas, no luck. Same issues as stated before, error connecting to the server.

-After a few more meaningless tries, I restarted my computer, still no luck connecting to UO Second Age.

-I'm able to connect to other free shards, such as UO:Gamers.

So like others have already asked, do we have any idea on why this happening? And any quote on how long till this issue is resolved? Also, has anyone tried re-installing and patching their client? I'm fixing to try that. I'll post back and let everyone know if that does anything.

Ping to server is pretty good at less then 35ms from west coast USA - no packet loss

I am unable to get on as well. I am happy, however, to know it isn't just me... even though it sucks I can't get on lol

I keep refreshing to see how many players are online, I am reminded of the song..."another one bites the dust"

the login is down not the server.

to make matters worse, it is in fact the log in server that is down, so there are a few people who are still currently playing

Looks like the powers that be are MIA. I'm logged in with my crafter at least. I couldn't connect to this website for quite awhile either.

To report back from my last post:

I uninstalled, and then re-installed, and patched my UO client. No luck.

multiple people having this issue Charles, it's definitely nothing you can do on your part to fix it heh

for the last time the LOGIN server is down not the GAME server.. so if you had a char online before LOGIN went down it'll still be available on the GAME server.
