you can set your keep/castle private, and deed the tower and fall off the wing onto the roof i think your thinking of

edit: i just had a thought i seem to remember ANOTHER way of getting up there is to place a tower next to the keep/castle, close as you can, and the over hang would allow you to teleport there... or am i just making that up? i swear i remember it coming up back in the day
A trick is to place a tower where you are going to place your keep, log a guy off on the roof, deed the tower, place the keep, log on the guy who was on the tower roof. He'll be floating in the air, take a step and you'll fall down to the keep's roof
