UO Second Age

Everyone has to keep in mind that t2a was an era, not a specific day. Things changed during the span of t2a and no ruleset stayed the same the whole entire duration. This shard takes, what I believe to be, the most accurate/best fitting ideas from this era and make it into something permanent.

Regardless, this murder/red ruleset was the longest used in T2A and has been implemented very well. No complaints by me.

I don't see any problems with how the murder system is working now. If you want to murder people, then you will take counts. If you die red, you will get stat, unless you decide to spend countless hours as a ghost. Either way, you are still at a disadvantage when you die.

I like the idea of being afraid of everyone

Actually derrick, I had my account for macroing off murders in my house while red as a ghost on catskills.. and osi banned all 4 accounts that had ever logged on from my IP addy... But if you ask me id change it to maybe 24hrs play time per murder? Since it was harder to macro then it would be a lil bit closer to the way it was.. I know its not accurate but neither is being able to macro 24/7

Wick who were you on Catskills? Also I macro'd all day on catskills-- always AFK, usually with either UOLOOP or EasyUO.. never even saw a GM (Although I was running a GM Checker script ;p)

BTW I like the current murder system, its accurate, BUT I wouldn't mind if once you went red you stayed red.. I like longterm counts b/c I'd macro off the shorts and stay red with the longs (no statloss but still red)

hmm I don't remember the ping-pong thing, only that once you were red, you never went back.
I love hearing folks tell how they used easyuo and other t.o.s. violating programs on osi.
We can sure trust them not to cheat here, huh?

And macroing off a murder count is absolutely zero punishment. Just kill.....set your macro and go off to bed or work and viola.....counts gone, zero repurcussion. Heck you can even macro while red at the bank!
I sure don't remember any of that being part of original t2a....

I macro'd on Catskills constantly as well. Skill training, mining, count burning...everything. I saw a GM maybe once or twice in all the years that I played.

I teetered between red/blue on OSI quite a bit. As did most of the other people I played with. I don't really see why it is such a big issue.

its a big deal here because all these newbies don't like seeing the people who PK them blue and intown.. It's not like I can't make 2 characters with the SAME name and go red with one of em..

Why use EUO here blackheart? Razor is BETTER than EUO..but then again your a newb and know most likely nothing about what razor can and can't do..

I like this idea, its very true. I see red players all the time afk as a ghost running down their murder counts. Doing that negates the current stat loss system all together. Definitely something to look at. Besides if your red stay red and proud, quit hiding behind the blue name.

Well maybe its just every time I am on during peak, but yes the past week I have seen at least 1 red ghost afk near a bank every time I have been on. Not the same one every time either. And your right, to an extent it was an over exaggeration due to the fact it seems to be a new development, if people just starting figuring out they could do that, or just got bold and dont do it in their houses anymore. However being able to do that still nullifies the current stat loss system in place, which in my opinion is kind of an exploit of the system.

I played a bunch of diff chars.. i got banned a couple times and had to start over.

I played Danzig, SugaR DaddY, PimP DaD, Dragula and a few noobs.

But i was in a small house in the swamp near trins macroing off murders with pimp dad and came back to connection lost and they banned that account and the other 3 that had logged from my ip.
