Biohazard, you would probably be alot better off just embracing the system here and moving on. The fact that you CAN place smalls basically anywhere and that there are many large (and even some XLs) spots available is a hell of alot better than the t2a time period.

I dont even know why this is an issue to you... Unless you joined this shard in early 98 there is zero chance of you having a super premo spot unless you buy one... Everything besides super-premos & castles is easily available right now.
You misunderstand me. I will play here either way. I can still think a particular aspect is BS and still partake in the overall. I'm sorry my disagreeing bothers you so. I simply stated my point(s). I have also stated that I completely understand that no housing limits came in until whatever date, the issue is the fact you can have 3 accounts thus the "housing limit" imposed is three-fold what it should be. There is no account curb, thus we have problems like ghosting, housing, and skewed economy.

P.S. I have moved on. I simply threw my old thread into this new one (with a couple extra lines) and the whole issue has been reawakened(and not by me singlehandedly)

And Kraruug, what is the point of having 15 houses? I'm not trying to be a dick, I honestly don't get it.
As a role player, I have several buildings for my guild. From a training hut, to an amory, a potion hut, a vendor house, etc. The the smalls are occupied by new members until they either get their own house, buy it from me at deed cost, or quit. I also place smalls as soon as I can to prevent "KeWl Do0ds" from dropping in the middle of our encampment. If a orc hut falls, I try to place myself.

So, while many UOSA players have a first person prospective of ownership, my playstyle is more of a guild centric one than a personal one.

The only house that I do not open use for guild purposes is my keep.

And for that you should be commended.
It's not all about land grabbing so you can get your third keep.

Apparently you don't completely understand, because if the rules didn't come into effect until 2000 then that means this server is going to mirror that.

Then wtf are you whining about?

The rules are in place, they're not changing. Get over it. Too bad you and the new people don't get to place houses in the spots you want. You can buy my keep at any point in time for the right price. Gold is NOT hard to get. Real-estate market is a GOOD thing.

No one cheated for their gold, no one had it any easier, but if you want 15 houses in prime locations you're going to have it a little harder, that much is fact.

Why do you care if someone has 10 houses as long as there is room for a newbie to still place his?

Why we are on this topic, please limit the amount of ore people can mine as my new miner is having a hard time not being able to mine due to no ore left in the one mine he wants to mine in.

There are house spots EVERYWHERE.
I placed 2 towers and 7 bricks in 1 day, about 2 hours time. Much spent acquiring the deeds themselves.

I was reading about people whining about housing so I went to secure some land only to find that the whiners were severly exaggerating.

I know of at least 5 more tower spots, and uncountable brick spots.

I agree with this, I've been able to place a patio a few day ago, and ive spotted a few places for other 7x7's L-shaped, and another patio or two

man you are a dumbass. I do not want a house. I am not saying the limit is incorrect. How are you unable to grasp this? The part that is not right is there is a 3 account limit
(free btw), thus creating an inflated amount of houses (this means more than there should be) plus I was done with this topic 3 years ago. Thanks for keeping it alive.

and to the rest of you, I know you can still place houses.

The End.

I havent been on shard to long myself and placed a keep a week ago. It took me 4 days to find one, but I was able to place one and not buy one from another player. If I was trying to fit a tower I would have placed it within an hour and not in swamp or ice. Plenty of room for decent sized housing still. Once I get the rest up, I will place a tower also.

Multiple spots for large housing...just check to the far north. I have a tower by Ice Dungeon and I know there are other spots up there.

So you're not bitching about the house limit but you're bitching about the 3 account/house limit?

I think you've confused yourself...

No accounts cost a monthly fee, your argument is invalid.

I think the only real problem you'll have is placing a castle. Pretty sure all those spots are gone. I easily placed a large brick in the first location I looked.

I didn't confuse anything. People just don't want to connect the dots on what I'm saying and want me to lay out every absolute fine detail for some reason. It's very easy to understand.
