I am new to the server, maybe a week now and K^A has been extremely nice to me since I arrived ... so far I have spent alot of time in their guild town and it has been active with ppl here 100% of the time I'm on... now I can only speak from my own personal experience but I have been on a lot since I started... and if the buildings in the town fall from lack of use... I don't see whats stopping anyone from putting it up just adds flavor for that side of Brittania and gives ppl a reason to throw events... if it goes unused it will fall and that will be that...

I think with the shard at it's current size, it's going to be real tough to keep a community in any one place. Let alone 5 or 10 places, across all these guild "communities".

the only single person that has done anything on a consistent basis is BlackFoot, so give him anything he wants.
no other guild has done squat. if being a group of gank pks is all it takes to have a town full of addons then hey.. what's there to do..
i tend not to pay too much attention to events since i usually can't attend anyways, but I did the $$$ fishing contest a few months ago, and since then I think I recall seeing, maybe, one $$$ posted event... that's not active either.
twice in this thread K^A has talked about resist parties ------ where's the forum announcement so anyone can attend? perhaps i missed it, but i didn't see anything. where's the IRC announcements leading up to it? Ah, none. And don't link me to a 6 month old thread and expect that anyone would view it as a current announcement for a weekly event.
In retrospect, maybe every town addon should have been deleted 1/1/10 and all guilds would of had to re-prove their validity for addons.. something along those lines would weed out the inactives

K^A is a ghost town, there's rarely anyone there. I would think that for a guild as big as they are that the town would be boomin......no dice, it's BFE on a monday night.

I think to have add ons, you shouldnt use the area to kill people. Add ons are a privildge to a guild who helps the community, not a lure for them to kill the community.

$$$ has run many events on a consistant basis... However I'm not sure a set amount of events per time is a good rule for upkeep... That leads to forced, uncreative, poor quality events.

Why have there been so many
I dont like Posts? I dont Like KA, I dont like town addons, I dont like peoples Language, I dont like blackfoot and the things he has...etc etc. At worst KA town addons are neat little decorations that a new player could stumble across and say "huh, pretty neat lookin" Now people are up in arms about these decorations and its going to lead to generally accepted places having to defend themselves.( $$$ and Urk ) I just dont see whats causing the animosity, "Can we all just get along"

It's irrelevant anyways, pretty sure town's aren't about rewarding one playstyle over another.

i personally? refresh my memory please, who would this char be? because ive been macroin kills on another char on the same account for a few weeks, and ive been busy with school and work, i only play from 12pm-1pm eastern time pretty much anymore during the week, and on weekends im with the gf so i dont even play. please try again Tabius
