So Deep Sea Serpents I randomly encounter in he sea are from fishermen?

So they might have a mib in the belly even if you did not fish it up? Killed 2 today that were out there and 1 dropped t map.

You don't get MiB's from Sea Serpents, you fish them up just like fish and tmaps and shoes. Some Sea Serps and Deep Sea Serps carry tmaps, but none carry MiB's as far as I know.

Everything in the forums so far would seem to indicate they come only from the belly of Deep Sea Serpents.

Thats a quote from 2008, we are more accurate now. MIBs and TMaps (from fishing) were not on serpent corpses until after our cutoff date (UOR I think).

Ya i fish pretty heavily, and almost never encounter SS or DSS unless im lookin for them.

Interesting, I seem to encounter them fishing a lot. Actually thought I just fished up a Deep Sea Serpent at 90.7 fishing skill.

Thats because you're not GMed yet. I used to get them all the time, but once I GMed, I never saw them again.

Now sometimes I use tracking and search for them, but if im just floatin around, I never see them.

I've actually seen them quite a bit lately (not fishing them up myself, but randomly sailing around). I'm pretty sure they're actually spawning now.....but maybe a GM can confirm?

Anywho. I usually fish along the server line thats near Yew. IDK what that one is called. I've heard it called The Big Server Line. idk.

I never see them along there, but I'm pretty sure they do spawn randomly. Derrick and me talked about it one time. I can't remember what the conversation was abt but I know it had something to do with Sea Serpent spawns. Now, If I use tracking, I can hunt down tons of them. I led C^V on a Sea Serp hunt last week and we made some serious bank just killin serps.

I have noticed thats there is a real heavy spawn of them just SW of Moonglow. Lots of SS and DSS there ripe for the pickins.
