I understand that the selection took place this morning, but having just found this post, in the off chance that you're still looking...

I suggest you call this city New Cove. There are countless real-world examples of old cities being abandoned only so new one could be placed right beside them, after great fires or devastating disasters of any kind. New Cove is a simple name, yes, but in that way it would allow you to mesh with the game's lore in a way that most generic fantasy-type city names will never match.

I distinctly remember being told in irc by MyM members to vote a certain way and also noticed it in other guild chat rooms. TO troll, i would have to had made a story up and kept it up long enough to cause a angry reaction.

So we asked people to vote ? that's not rigging a poll, we didn't force anyone to do anything.
