This looks brilliant Rose, way to put in the effort to make something legit for this shard.

Nice event. Good potential. Thanks for taking the time to set this up.
My 2 cents:
1. A single dragon on one team unbalances things quite a bit.
That's it really. Everything else was really well done. From the field layout to equipment setup and availability, well done.
Thanks again.

Yes, I will be adding a new rule: If tamers are to play, there must be one per team or none at all.

Re: Capture the Capital (CTC)
Legit event Rose, had a lot of fun. Anyone who didn't play should definitely consider it next time.

Re: Capture the Capital (CTC)
What a spectacle! Teams were 6 v 6 tonight!
Congrats to Mana Capital for pulling out the victory. They were well organized.
Here is a clip from the final moments of the savage fight.

Here is a picture of the "No Res killing" rule being enforced.
Thx for being an example Felix

Re: Capture the Capital (CTC)
yea i agree rose one team with a dragon = landslide victory only thing i was wondering is if they killed my dragons would i be able to go get another one or if that is all she wrote doesnt matter to me one way or another just wondering
Re: Capture the Capital (CTC)
I don't know I think it should be offered to each team, if the team can't field a tamer that's their bad.....kind of has something to do with who you draft. Didn't felix have the first pick btw? I think we should be trying to make different templates more of a factor, not less. As fun as CTFs are there isn't much of a reason to use tamers, theifs, stealthers, etc. Regardless, hell of an event Rose....really glad I sold you that large brick.

Re: Capture the Capital (CTC)
A dragon on one side REALLY tips the scales. To say 5v5+dragon in an open field on horses, etc, is one thing. But 5v5+dragon on foot on the top of a tower = slaughter. It's not about removing a template from play, it's about making sure the teams are as even as possible so it's a fun fight. No one is suggesting removing the tamers, only keeping the teams fair.
Speaking of res killing. . . what about the new res who is looting bodies? I'm guessing they are fair game, but, what's the actual rule?

I think doing anything except getting back to base in a grey robe and reequipping is a penalty.. or it should beAlex the Artist wrote:Speaking of res killing. . . what about the new res who is looting bodies? I'm guessing they are fair game, but, what's the actual rule?

Re: Capture the Capital (CTC)
I agree that the dragon makes a huge difference but so does tactics.
Every time I am the capitan I make my team choke and play D, this last battle was our best example. The red team kept funneling in people and we would just trap em and kill them. We played much more D than O.
The other team did not really focus on the tamer nor try and trap the dragon. Yomega just kept running at us and suiciding.
Yes once the dragon dies that should be it for the tamer. We also had someone who had 60 str on our team

Re: Capture the Capital (CTC)
If you have 5 people that have played with each other for a while and know each other's tactics, team tactics, etc, you might have a point. But when it's strangers, some of which don't have voice comms, it's almost impossible to coordinate something. We did try to synch the tamer when you made the move over to our tower. But, 5 people, again, with no prior experience working together, getting hammered by 5 people and a dragon on the top of a tower. . . it ain't gonna happen.
