Was too lazy to run around looking for houses so I just logged on with a character in progress and trained the heck out of my fighting skills

I did more then 1500 houses on my toons and only got 6 silver, guess i got shafted on the silver.

I think its also depended on what areas of the game world you went too. I seem to recall getting most of my silvers near player run towns.
