No, the game has an economy.
100k is not much gold and new players will mostly not make 100k in a week starting off except for under the most ideal conditions and foreknowledge.
Even so, it doesn't matter if the economy isn't broken, this will still be a gold sink. I'm not demanding anything change or that players do anything. I'll just be here making fun ways to destroy gold, tra la la la la.
Look out for a new one tomorrow...

Only if its sold to NPC's. I was referring to selling them to players.

I like your enthusiam and your solution.
I have a few friends who are new to the shard but not the game...they see the housing market (acquiring a keep or castle or even a tower) EXTREMELY daunting. I tell 'em to keep farming and eventually you can get enough gold to buy someone's or buy the eight houses someone is selling at 300% markup to place your own.
Again, I like the attempt and fervor.
