Will Wisps cause damage to you in a guarded area?

Wind requires a certain level of magery to get in. As a dexxer I've never even been there.

There are two hireable NPC mages on the second floor of the big mage shop in Britain. Once you drag them off somewhere, they will respawn, one at a time every hour or two. If anyone knows some other locations they can be found (aside from Wind) pls share.

Regarding damage, if you've got eight of those guys at full mana casting on you, you need to be careful. I nearly died a couple times reading webpages and other activities -even with a heal macro going.

The resist is well worth going for. It's already saved me from a few PK attempts.

Resist is not increasing for me at all. Started magery and resist at 50 at char creation. Got magery up to 70 real by hitting myself with lightning and ebolt. Not one gain in resist. I guess I need some other entity to hit me with magic in order to gain, right?

It doesn't gain if you are in the guard zone... You have to go outside the gz, but be prepared to take some real damage.

Yep and if macroing outside the GZ make sure to throw a heal macro in there so you don't kill yourself with e-bolt.

I'm having a lot of trouble getting this to work now that all kill doesn't make all of the hirelings attack, any help?

toss a lesser explosion potion at them. It's cheaper than casting ms

casting ms cost less in fact if you have to purchase the purple pot in a shop

Lesser Explosion potion is what, 20gp? MS is 4 regs at an average of 3.5gp each? 14gp? You have a pretty good chance at gm to fizzle ms increasing your cost to 28gp.
