As a newbie to this shard: can someone explain to me why having a newbied, indestructible pair of normal coloured sandals is so valuable? I'm just confused a bit. I understand bids with functionality in game, like houses for instance, or magic weapons/armour... but coloured shit? I never understood that. And now: not even coloured shit? I'm just a lost soul on this, and would like to know what the mentality is. Is it just the speculative future resale value? Or is there some deeper functionality that I am completely oblivious to?

Its because you can dye the sandals with the silver he is selling with them. Pretty much the most important things, style wise, in this game is a cool color (especially neon) pair of sandals and neon hair, lol. Imagine if this is how the real world dressed.
