I was looking for a cheap and nasty way to get healing up and I found this method was ideal. I did see a suggestion about pulling a snake outside Magincia Guard zone at the gate but sadly to many griefers there. I was able to get the use of a house and a friendly tamer brought a snake over as a house warming gift which I soon set up nicely in its own corner. As Pirul suggested -Malaikat wrote:Here's something I've been doing. Works if you can trap a snake/serpent/slime outside or in your house. Could include a restock agent, but I'm being brave and doing without...

That's:
If poisoned
Walk (away)
walk (away)
bandage self
wait 19sec
end if
for (1 to 100)
if sysmessage "failed"
bandage self
wait 19sec
end for
end if
if hits <=45
walk (away)
walk (away)
bandage self
wait 19sec
else
walk (toward)
walk (toward)
loop
Using a bow to approach the snake is definitly win. I was able to set this macro up to run overnight with no fuss. I did have one concern about carrying over 1000 odd bandages, but I was to tired to set a restock agent up so let it go.Pirul wrote:Get a snake + equip a bow = WIN!
You'll need around 20k (at least that's more or less what I used last time I GMed a healer)Wrongway wrote:Any idea on how many bandages needed from 30-100 in healing?
Work weapon skills / wrestling / resist on yourself or an alt, and be constantly healing. Or trap a small animal (dog, sheep, etc.), equip a bow, and let the animal hit you while you heal. You'll be taking little damage, won't be fighting back because you have the bow equipped, and you'll have plenty of time to heal before the animal does any real damage.Wrongway wrote:Any easy way to afk 30-60 (before cures)?
Anatomy should not have any impact on skill gain...that I know of.Wrongway wrote:Other than the requirement to cure/res, does anatomy matter in regards to skill gain (i.e. is it ok to get 100 anat before starting healing?)
You're welcome.Wrongway wrote:Thanks!
Sounds about right. That part of macroing healing is mobidly slow.Mikel123 wrote:Looks like it took me about 9000 bandages from 80 to 100 skill.
Late to the party, brahTony Costa wrote:Okay this guide is officially the slowest, dumbest, and most costly way of doing healing - simply because of the "cast poison" macro. Go get a small house, trap a snake or two and cure their poison. Works the same way without a 10 mile long macro of bs...
