The best template and most powerful is a hybrid w/ tactics and wrestling instead of anatomy. Although anat does give 20% damage bonus you will get raped by anyone using a weapon. They will successfully hit you about 98% of the time and fuck you over. I use wrestling instead of anat and tbh i do extreme dmg w/my hally even without anat. Like alatar said, if you know how to pvp then theres a billion ways to kill someone. If you stealth up on my bard you will die because you will not be able to kill me w/ magery alone and that goes for a lot of other pvm'ers. This time era gives the power to hybrids because of insta hit. Learn how to utilize it and you'll be a very effective pk. As for dying goes, the best template for NOT dying is a heal mage but you wont be able to kill anyone unless you are very skilled at it; it is best for fighting with groups.

Still - What is your advantage when using Wrestling? avoiding spell interruption? would you then attempt for a GM wrestling?

And on that note, does anyone do a split? like 80 hiding, 60 anatomy, 60 med = 100 free skill points for something else

On the wrestling, spell interruption as well as if you free your hands to drink a pot you have less of a chance of being beat down while your hands are free to down the pot (like if you are using a 2 handed wep and have to free both hands to drink).

If you are relying on hiding to save you and you are only at 80 skill, those are odds not totally in your favor. If you rely on magery very much, 60 med won't regen mana all too quick. for a more rounded char it may be more fun, but you will be at a disadvantage out of the blocks.

Also think about your char, are you wanting offensive or defensive. Hiding is for the most part defensive. If you take wrestling, you now have 200 points used on defence. Again not in your favor especially if you are going up against an oppenent offensively built and a decent player at the mouse. If you need to run and hide, you probably are not doing very well in the battle anyway.

Does anyone use healing on there PVP char? Seems like healing is pretty strong here when I use it it heals like a greater heal without the chance of interruption. Whats the story how come no one talks about it?

If you're pking then why are you worried about taking weapon damage? Drop that exp ebolt hally with 20% dmg inc and drop em.
