PvP tourney events are ok but aren't any good for new players or people who aren't interested in PvP or don't have the connection for it.

However Monster Bashes and CTF are some of my favorites, even when I was on a super e-leet 56k modem.

I mean cmon, this isn't the freakin Smithsonian Institution. Scheduled events as such with public gates aren't going to wreck the place. This is like a post-apocalyptic utopia of UO. No harm in having some fun every once in a while.

I'm sure everyone who is on the server at this point shares Derricks view/dream of a completely era accurate shard, exept for events, thats the only thing we don't agree on.

Its because Derrick doesnt really run UOSA anymore.
Hes still the king/creator of it, but he hasnt "ran" it for quite sometime.
Hence its decline over the past few years.
