i know the date
[Blessed]
These items cannot be stolen, and will remain with your ghost when you
die. They can, however, still be destroyed and take damage as normal.
it does not say its a change from the past though

Only AR of the items should be affected like when you run around in your newbie clothes forever with zero AR from them since they long since lost their protective properties.
Keep the clothes....lose the AR. Especially from things like masks.

The era accurate solution to your problem would be to stand at the Brit bank in all your 'status symbol' glory chatting with all the other 'status symbol' pvpers. Not changing game mechanics to protect your 'status symbol'.
If blessed items broke in era (as the evidence seems to show), then they should here. If they didn't (lacking evidence), then they shouldn't.
I don't play this game to stand at brit bank. I think it's sad that everyone wants to break idems that they cannot get. Blessed idems were indestructable long before UOR even though there is no evidence to state that other than a some players that did not get demencia. The more I think about childish issues like this the more my desires to play diminish. I'm sure others feel the same way.
seriously dude stfu. you didnt even play pre uor im sure. only nubs think they didnt break. go learn to spell you fucking foriener
Played Great Lakes from 98-2002 and I'm from Pennsylvania. Though I don't know why where I'm from has anything to do with this. I blessed black sandles the day bless deeds came out wore them always untill the day I sold my account. Also you spelled foreigner wrong. This is a prime example of someone who is jealous of others. Stick a toe where the sun don't shine.

This deed can be used on any article of clothing (such as tunics, boots, hats, etc.) After double-clicking the deed, target an article of clothing. Once targeted, the clothing will become blessed (meaning it cannot be stolen or looted). Blessed clothing can still take damage (from maces for example).
Blessed items already take damage. cant read anything about being breakable and thats a big difference. This has already been stated in this thread.

Please re-read the linked groups that state they break towards the front of this thread. Thank you have a nice day.

I had blessed blacks as well, and they broke when I was running around buc's den getting chased by a macer and got wtfpwnt, then cried and quit after they broke.

Did you mean those "proofs" that are out of era? They are not reliable enough to support a change that influences the game / economy of a server with 500 clients online!
By this logic a lot of changes in the past would have to be revised.

Please keep language civil in this thread. The blessed masked pixel lovers who I guess I am just really jealous of would love it if this got moved to trash talk.

This is probably the most frustrating thread to read in the time I've played here. I am not going to argue what is accurate to the era, and what isnt.
I understand why people are getting upset at having their hard-worked for, blessed neon whatever masks/sandals breaking...
But whats the incentive for arguing against it?
Will having blessed items break make this shard so much better? Will you quit playing the "t2a era accurate" shard over something like this? Will UOSA gain additional players if we put a big stamp on the homepage that says "BLESSED ITEMS WILL BREAK!!!". Is it affecting the game play? Why are you not barking up the tree of "Razor is not era accurate... multiple accounts are not era accurate... current tamer commands are not era accurate... silver system is not era accurate...". Clearly - this server isnt, and never will be, era accurate - and alot of the "era accuracies" are just dictated by a few opinions of the well established veterans on the shard (or at least thats the way it seems to me). However, I do not think that is such a bad thing, as the admins do not cater or grant special priveledges to players, like I have heard from other popular shards (UOGamers, UORevelation etc.)
It seems like there are more important things to "rally the era accurate people" for, rather than some foot and head pixels, which outside of getting a boner at the thought of macing "Insert Elite UOSA Vet"s colored mask to dust, doesn't have any game play affect.
- signed by someone who just blessed a pair of black sandals thanks to the holidays, but doesnt give a crap if they break or not.

the only reason blessed clothing would affect mechanics of the game is making it so their ar is not diminished as they are being hit...other then that its purely cosmetic....whoop de doo
I say make it so they do not break entirely but that they can be damaged to the point of no longer providing an armor rating.

Bring duping back. Not because you should, but because it's era accurate.
