I should have been more specific. Theres 2 videos by Garnet Crow from back in 1999, the best one to watch is the duel's between him and an energy vortex(players name, played catskills I think). Watch the duel, when I get home from work Ill get the link. The pvp is almost identical to the pvp here. The mini heals are exact. When I get home I will get the link for the video, and you will see that it is definitly a 1999 recording.

If you're talking about this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXzDE5Hhv9k

Is has unicode text in it, and a "world save". This is from a RunUO shard.

We can obviously tell that you don't pvp 1v1 here if you believe that is the case.

Gonna have to side with Faust, there's a lot in that video that you can tell was changed from RunUO default which makes it resemble this shard in many ways, but the basics such as weapons not refreshing during movement aren't in.

IMO - In Mani [Heal] did an avg of 5 dmg restore. However saying that it's been 10 years since the era and a couple of Sphere and RunUO shards will confuse anyone.

There is 1 thing I know for a fact though and that's In Mani [Heal] was rarely used in a duel/fight/anything and seeing people (Including myself) spam it in a duel feels completely foreign to what real t2a was.

If it wasn't HP that made In Mani obsolete and pratically useless (or rarely used) was there something else that may have?

Casting time, Mana Cost,... Thinking outside the box here.

Not trying t get off subject but wasn't Energy Bolt Dmg on impact (Detonation)? I remember running off screen with multiple EBs (sometimes 5+) trailing me and dieing (or living depending I got heals) 3-4 Screens away from people that casted it. I was one of the few that had Cable so maybe not everyone witnessed this?... 1 second delay seems inaccurate seeing that explode eb halberd hit in near perfect sync would dmg near instantly. Hence the most common and basic Combo of the era [Cast Explode, Precast EB - Equip Halberd, Insantly hit halberd - Release Precasted EB dmg avg = 65.] If you casted this and timed it just right you would see 100hp drop to 35 instantly. 1/3 of your life
(If you were fast enough you could even dmg with EB before Explotion dmg.) I have more testing to do but it seems the EB delay should be based on range/impact-detonation.

Again it's been awhile, and after sphere, and runUO things tend to look diffrently.

I think this is probalby the biggest argument against "In Mani". If the hp healing is correct something else was probably different in era as this spell was rarely, if ever, used by most.

Yes, why was this spell rarely used if its so good?? Is it simply due to connection??

Maybe the cooldown timer to cast is off? Can we verify?
