Either way, I recommend keeping Bongy banned. I have already banned him twice from the channel before. He just doesn't seem to understand that his behavior is unacceptable and has reprecussions.
We don't particularly go by a three strike rule. One strike is good enough for me. But three means you're not gunna be coming back this time.

Once again people are making gross assumptions about the amount of awards being given out. This crafter olympics is a large event. The largest crafter event in the history of UOSA. There are awards for this large all inclusive event. There were 10x more prizes given out at shaletar, or at cove invasions. The assumptions being tossed around in this thread are way off base.

it seems as these staff created items should go on halt....t2a era accuracy is important.....when did osi have the player run crafting olympics and were given items created by staff to deal out at their discression...if so..find it and replicate it

on osi i had a unique bright orange plate tunic before t2a release. Awhole suit was created (great lakes) so... we should only award players with orange plate tunics? because its era accurate? blackfoot im not coming at you or anything you have going on....but era accuracy isnt an arguement....its the reason why we are here figuring out the rules...and the reason why we are playing.....the SECONDAGE.....so because the attack on trinsic was undeads...that means we HAVE to have undeads attack trinsic...well sir yes... if the game gave out an orange colored whatever...then yes.. do that as well. but its alittle much to have as many staff created items given out for player ran events....i guarantee osi never gave as many special reward items to one person as staff has managed for you....WHICH IS TOTALY FINE...its just it has to stop now...with our trophy system and automated events....this is just putting it over the top.....i dont know why people cant understand that i dont think its right for staff to create reward items for player run events....the player should donate the reward....and im glad you have put in so much time and money for the past events...but thast you. and thats how you play. and im not here to bash u for anything...its just gettin too much for staff to give reward items for player run events......if these things are loved by the shard..then they need to be brought to derricks attention that HE needs to make a UOSA olympics...not blackfoots olympics...ya see

It pretty clearly appears that felix, for example, is averaging more than 100k/hour at these recent events. I didn't say CTF or PvP events. I meant all events, like for example the ones in question here with all the uniques being given out. I'm sure there are others doing pretty well too. Minor point though - it's easy to argue the fine points of the numbers, I put them there as estimates to try to make things clearer but of course everyone wants to argue.
The major point is that the most profitable things one can do on this shard are just not era-accurate.

Player ran events are era accurate. Admin assistance in those events is era accurate. That is also a 'policy' decision, not an era mechanic.
The era accuracy debate does not apply to this situation.

Again, kyrpt, where do you think those rehued items and things in Blackfoot's museum came from? A large majority of them were created before the trophy system was even an idea. Staff used to give out items or rewards for people reporting bugs and helping fix then, and being overall beneficial and good assets to the shard.
Hell we even give people birthday cakes with their name on it on their birthday. So yes, there are literally dozens of special items created for players.

So he should forget all the coding he's constantly doing for the shard and his job and his wife to run boring crafter events that you probably wouldn't even join just because you don't like blackfoot?
Instead of going through a carefully picked trusted proxy who, by pretty much everyone's admission is the most honest player on t he shard, to save us time and effort and allow to to continue coding, answering pages, improving shards, coming up with more ideas about what to do with the shard.

You know Krypto, you seem to be pretty informed. How many items where given out exactly over time? How many is too many? I want some actual numbers instead of random spamming of nerd rage across the boards. I mean, I get that you don't like nevermore, but I want facts. Back up what you're saying and I actually might take the time to read through your whole posts.
Also, I want your answer. Not quotes of blackfoot saying "maybe 25".

Luca making shit up, I have yet to sell any of the event items.
I inquired about buying the other event items, thats it
I also find the level of hypocrisy funny. ACE is a very inactive guild who has quite alot of town ad-dons. Luca also received unique item from a previous player ran event.

Ya those Shaletar shields are so rare now too.... not. You have proven my point, the amount of "rares" given out is stupid.
i call them "rares" because they are hardly rare anymore...
