I voted Illegal, but only because I've been seeing this quite a bit lately. One guy in particular keeps gating into elders, stealthing 3-4 archers through the gate and then starting his macros all at once. This means 3-4 archers with vanq bows all hit you at the same time, all controlled by a razor macro. If you attack back or run away, all of the archers except one just stand there in one spot. I won't list the name/guild because the guy obviously has no talent.

Its actually quite effective, I've taken more damage from this method than I usually do from a whole gank squad running in and attacking me. Definitely an incredibly lame tactic that requires no PvP skill.

The only way to stop it is to set and enforce a policy of disallowing it, allowing only one client at a time, or somehow get rid of powerful macros as I described above.

There's also 'halfway' solutions such as allowing 2 clients at a time maximum. Something like this would definitely reduce the problems, but not eliminate them outright.
