If you wanted to AFK macro without getting banned you just went out into the boonies somewhere and nothing would ever happen to you.

I remember macroing off murders on my red in my house. And I never did it in war mode because I was always afraid I might get banned. Didn't know if I would or wouldn't but I didn't want to find out either.
