He could easily sell each of his unique rares @ 2-3 mil per which is an easy 30+ mil.

Doc probably comes up in the top 3-5 richest but I won't get started on that

Gold is pretty moot here to define who is the richest.

GuardianKnight farmed more than I've ever seen anyone farm, and he bought 2 unique rares I believe through the silver system, though back then they were only 600 silver, and silver was far cheaper in terms of gp.

I've probably acquired about 13 million in my time here, though I am left with around 7 or 8 million now; the rest I gave away or sold below market value. I'd guess, for someone who never got into the buy-low-sell-high rares market, nor happened to be online when a bunch of server rares were dropped, nor inherited a bunch of stuff from people quitting, I'm probably up there in terms of "rich" players.

I have spent my fair share of time farming, but most of it was acquired while I was trying to do something else. Like, probably 400k going from 95.0 to GM lockpicking. I also started a character, macroed up to near GM magery, and farmed from 0 fame to 15,000 fame. That earned me around 300k by the time I was done, solely from Efreets, White Wyrms and Ice Fiends. I think I died twice, so figure maybe 250k if I never died during the process.

That's the best way to "farm" though - find a goal for yourself that just so happens to also make some gold on the side, and do that. It keeps your mind off of the gold ("a watched pot never boils"), makes you money, and gives you a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when you're done. I could make 50k/hour farming elder gazers, or 25k/hour going from 95 to GM lockpicking, but the lockpicking was a lot more fun because I had a goal besides just making money. There are few people who can maintain an attention span on making money for the sole purpose of making money. It's inherently boring and unfulfilling.

Who can say 20 castle deeds and 3 bank checks saying 1 mil each with a keep on ice and a castle somewhere PACKED with vanqs powers fort and invul i mean packed ill try and post a picture for you guys lol
