UO Second Age

I really do wonder how the BPD would fare in the face of organized resistance from those of us that aren't simply petty thieves. (Going out and stealing in the real world, vice the bank elevates the thief to no longer being petty). "Arresting" (meaning brutally beating without due cause and a proper investigation) death robe clad bank thieves is pedestrian at best.

I want to see them taking down murderers, highwaymen, and trapped box carrying terrorists.

Everyone in BPD should replace their forum avatars with various pictures of Judge Dredd.

BPD made me chuckle when I went to the bank on my their when they were first around, and they will again now... I respect what u guys are trying to do, but I'll just keep on doin what in doin... And maybe start a theif riot..

Some guy on IRC was complaining that BPD was griefing him.. Killing his fisherman over and over.

They sound like ruffians themselves.

Was he fishing at a bank with a permagrey thief? That's the only way BPD would have killed him.

Okay, if it was an innocent, then they would have been able to report them for murder. So, lets check their murder counts. What was the officer's name?

I'm not speaking as a BPD officer. I'm speaking as a 3rd party giving my opinion on the situation. Notice the lack of "we" or "I" in my last few posts. I could switch if you would feel more comfortable.

hate to see the pristine reputation of BPD get ruined because you can't keep tabs on what your "Officers" do.

Having a name that starts with "Officer" doesn't mean they're BPD. That's not a requirement anymore. Ask if the killer actually had a BPD guild title.

I've seen a few people out there with names that start with "Officer", that aren't in BPD. That tactic would have worked back when all BPD started with "officer", but it's not that way anymore.

All BPD officers have guild titles showing that say BPD. If they don't have a BPD guild title, they aren't BPD.

So any officer of the law who happens to have any sort of relationship, be it business or personal, with anyone who isn't also an officer of the law, is corrupt? Where is your logic? Where are you from where police officers live in an antisocial bubble?
