Step 1:Farmed my first 144k killing liches in deceit (oh god that was a hard week)
Step 2:Placed house
Step 3:Sold house at profit.
Step 4: Repeat Step 2
Never had to walk into another dungeon in my life after that.
Kept 99% of everything i found at IDOCS, just sold the houses over and over again.
50+ Mil later and I was done.
Started approx April 2010, finished June 2011.

Selling pretty much every craftable good at a modest price. Repeat. I think at my peak I was worth about 3M if you include real estate.

A combination of stealing it and wealthy players giving me a lot of their gold when they quit. Alas, I usually give it all away and now I have only 500k or so.

Here is your answer to how most of the "vets" made their millions
