That's fine but I would guess about 50% of the runes to the courtyards were obtained through a bug. What good is the rune to you to that persons courtyard other than you being able to say that "oh I have a rune to "enter name here"'s courtyard and the runebook in your library? You're never going to use that rune to loot the guys castle or to fight there, or to farm there or anything else it's just going to sit there like a shitty book on a shelf.RoadKill wrote:My runes were not obtained through bugs either, so he should not come in and delete them.Mirage wrote:
Your items were not obtained through a bug, so no he should not come in and delete them.
/end of my argument.

This is a good in-depth explanation. Thanks for your input.MatronDeWinter wrote:Wrong, and wrong.Mirage wrote: That's fine but I would guess about 50% of the runes to the courtyards were obtained through a bug.

So if I don't use the book, what's wrong about having it? I bet plenty of other players would enjoy having a campout in people's courtyards or at specific/targeted player houses.

Exactly my point, you don't even use the book. A good amount of people with courtyards got fucked over with a bug though. Personally, I have TWO secure castles that no one has a rune to, but I still feel that the people who got shafted because of a bug people abused should be given a second chance on this.RoadKill wrote:Mirage wrote:

I was more referring to the fact that my Castle Courtyard book may very well end up in my rune library sometime soon.Mirage wrote:Exactly my point, you don't even use the book. Yeah I understand that, and if you don't use that book, then what makes you think that anyone else is going to use the book to go to a courtyard that everyone on UOSA has access too?

Re: Castle Courtyard Rune Removal (Poll)
Can you tame dragons and put them in your courtyard? How long would they remain after going wild?
Re: Castle Courtyard Rune Removal (Poll)
NPC's disappear after 24 hours if it has not been targeted, dealt damage, or been damaged in that timespan.
Re: Castle Courtyard Rune Removal (Poll)
I wouldn't consider it a bug, but it also worked in reverse; you could LastTarget the overhang roof of a tower, step on the tile directly beneath it, and teleport up. This "feature" should be implemented, imo, as it is era accurate.BlackFoot wrote:i dont think placing a tower and teleing over could be considered a bug
