I underlined and bold the important information in those two paragraphs. Now hopefully you can CLEARLY see that if there is a "housing crisis" due to inactive players, its created by people like YOU.

i have been preaching this since day 1 sir. 1 account is all people should get. unless of course you feel like donating to the shard (or whatever type of limit you can come up with to be imposed). i highly disagree with multi-clienting as well... and yes it is era accurate to have 1 house per character... but the point was (for me anyway) that you can make 3 accounts.. and if you arent a dumbass you realize that this limit itself is able to be circumvented. the issue of housing is just a symptom of the big issue.

Alright, I suppose a reply from me is worth whyle in this post.

I am someone who was more then happy to own 15 houses, and have until I recently sold some of my more "prime realistate" becuase i wasnt using it.

One thing that this thread hasnt addressed at all is the fact that all the houses we are able to place is an increadable gold sink. What elce are people going to spend gold on?

This server has few if, any.. hell none at all in the way of gold sinks. How much gold is in houses right now. BILLIONS and BILLIONS of gold.

Many of those houses IDOC which is gold that is deleted from the economy.

If you want that much gold pumped into the economy, you really dont love this shard at all.

thats part of multi-clienting/multiple accounts.. theres huge amounts of money out there and nothing to spend it on.. thats a bad economy.. housing should make up for the fact that there is too much money out there?

Will you stop already? No, they will not change the rules to 1 account per player.

1. The shard has been online over two years.
2. Doing this will cause a MASSIVE amount of the population to quit.

You have NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT and have spent MONTHS trying to get your horrible ideas put on the shard.
Stop posting about housing, nothing will be changed and people are tired of you bringing this topic up every two weeks.

one more time... i do not care if the housing stays the same or changes completely. i will remain here. now please get off my sac

I keep friends accounts active, not their houses, so explain to me how I am part of this problem? Yeah didn't think so. I keep friends accounts alive incase derrick one day ever decided to delete unactive accounts. none of my RL friends have houses that do not play. perhaps when you leave the shard others will return! Moron . . or should I say MORON

Derrick has stated dozens of times that he will not delete inactive accounts. And even if he just up and decided to start deleting accounts, I'm more than for sure he would either send out email notifications or a forum banner stating old accounts would get deleted (and I'm assume he'd have a huge grace period, like 60-90 days heads up.)

But keep using that "I just refresh them" excuse so you can play on multiple accounts. I'm sure thats a great benefit when events like Scavenger Hunts come along.

I just joined this shard 3 weeks ago. I started like a true Newb with no friends, gathered cotton and wool, knit fancy shirts and bought my first small.. placed it next to minoc mountains and started mining and lumberjacking... I used my money from Ingot and Wood sales to buy a second small outside of Minoc to sell more ingots and lumber.

I used that money to macro up a treasure hunter, and treasure hunted for enough money to buy a large brick deed.

I thought to myself... no way I am going to find a place to put this large brick down at... I have never placed a house this big before. So I started running around, and 15 minutes later and 3 dozen attempts at placement finally found a place for my large brick, right outside of Yew in a nice little clearing with no spawn.

No housing crisis here imo.

I agree with Germ.
Placed a 2-story about 1 week ago. I'll probably be able to get a tower in on the spot when I have the gold needed.
Took about 1h maybe 2 to find it, that is nothing. I spent 2 days to find a small house spot on OSI and to get a large I later had to buy a overpriced pre placed house.

House crisis is fake.

I never did the scavenger hunts, and it clearly states in most events that multi-clienting is not allowed. SO, Keep running your dick-licker Hiicha, cause you really have no clue whats going on, and like the 5 year old you are, keep doing everything I say and do to try to attack me. Stay on subject or move off this topic!

Actually everyone should move off this topic, and stop bumping it up, move on, Derrick and staff already posted about this situation.

My 2 cents...........
I've been here for 522 days now and only have one 7x7 house, lol.
I don't think there should be a house reduction, only if there is a real crisis. IMO one 7x7 house is good enough, and there are plenty of spots for em!
I can't wait for the shard to become fully T2A accurate and by that I mean having 1000+ players online.. I wonder if there will be a housing crisis then :P
