also was neon hair era accurate how about running three clients at once for that matter do you think ppl had the same understanding of the game then as now

only way for that to happen and for nobody to cry including me is a complete server wipe delete everything start from scratch dont see that happening

how is anyone jealous almost everyone here had and or still has the opportunity to own one of these non era accurate items and many do own them and are still supportive towards them breaking.

I have alot of pre patched stuff id be fine if there was a patch to make things breakable. If it is in fact era acc

I also have a few prepatched items and I would be fine with a patch that made GF items breakable.

1. Been here longer

2. I have GF orc mask

3. If it's era inaccurate, I'd rather it be changed. That's what I love about this server. There should be no subjectivity to which things are allowed/disallowed. I'm not suggesting this, but, perhaps there could be a trade in program for items that can only be obtained through the trophy system (such as specially hued masks) wherein players could receive back 1/2 of the trophy points required for creating the item. This way, if you so wished, you could get a new perk with your silver (obviously not at full refund as you've had the items for a longer period of time).

With the exception of a few posts, most of the early comments on this thread were pretty reasonable. People have pointed out their thoughts on this issue and have weighed whether or not this is currently "era accurate" or if it should be changed. We have posts from both sides of the fence and even some characters who have the items, and obviously wouldn't WANT to lose them, but would accept it if it were in the spirit of era accuracy.

If we want to talk about flaming, then we should be talking about the people who's posts follow this format:

"I have these items, I am older than you nuubs, you guys are jealous and hating on me, there's other era inaccuracies, if you make this change I will cry and have a fit about it."

whats that have to do with the fact your blessed items are not era accurate in regards to hues/ unbreakable factor i will never know....

all you guys ever say is "you guys are just jealous you don't have the items" when people as pointed out have said items and want them to be breakable. then you go so far as to say well they got them unfairly and didn't work as hard as we did because of the Christmas cbds " we did countless tournys and events etc etc" when i know plenty of people with gf obtained predated to to last Christmas holiday tickets that actually farmed for money for the points.

The only people really affected by this will be the GF mask wearing types, who funnily enough are the same people who always defend GF stuff being unbreakable.

I have about 10 pairs of prepatch sandals ranging from not-very-rare to pretty-damn-rare, but of course it makes 0 difference to me since any kind of outfit I wear will prevent them from breaking. The only thing that will change is the value of them being ~1-10 million being significantly reduced.

I really have no opinion on whether they should break or not, this is the staff's call and I don't think any amount of arguing on the forum will change their minds.

it was obtained from a inaccurate silver/event system in the year 2010-+ on a freeshard where ppl only can bitch about a handfull items they wanna see break because there is nothing much left to bitc about (ty derrick for your good work) idk why you wanna see my mask break in any case because it has nothing to do with you, oh wait it have to do with your macer and the way u like to grief ppl.anyways...

U<---- = never cared about those items and got them from christmas (doesnt matter if you were able to purchase one over silver system with ur tons of trophys or not way before christmas) because u didnt care and did not put that effort in getting one of those items (dif opinions, playstyles, goals, idk whatever).

you can't, hence why I said the only people who are really interested in defending this change are GF mask wearing types. in all honesty removing the indestructible property from GF bless would be good for the shard as there would be less bs scamming going on and people bitching at each other on the forums.
