Your explanation is even funnier than your previous post.Dyne wrote: Sleeping schedules...yes...not a joke. Some people go to bed at a normal bedtime for 9-11 pm, not everyone stays up all night playing UO. Some have to be up for work at 4 a.m., others have to get the kids off to school, that's all i meant, some people didn't have the chance to bid because they were asleep, you can get mad all you want...doesn't change the fact that u won't win this deed.

Re: [SELLiNG] - "A deed for a potted plant" (reverse graphic
1.425 (maybe you should put a minimum bid to keep this clown from upbidding 20k on a million dollar+ item.)
Re: [SELLiNG] - "A deed for a potted plant" (reverse graphic

Which direction is the reverse graphic on these? I.E. does it look the same as most deeds, or does it look the same as a holiday ticket?
Re: [SELLiNG] - "A deed for a potted plant" (reverse graphic
opposite direction of house deeds

After having this thread brought to my attention, I have a few things to say with regards to what will happen with this auction.
First, while the original post seems to have been edited, it seems clear that the auction was intended to end at 8:15 PM EST on 1/12/14, except in the instance of a snipe bid which did not occur. This means that as per MortiKi's statements, the auction ended at 8:15 PM EST on 1/12/14.
Second, a seller cannot simply state that they have the right to do whatever they want in their auctions. This puts an unnecessary onus on buyers who must stand by their bids, while the seller is free to cancel or modify auctions for numerous reasons including, in this case, the maximization of profit. Simply put, it is patently irrational to treat a thread as an auction if the rules can be changed midway through the auction itself.
As a result, the following things will happen:
Since MortiKi's post said the following at 8:15 EST on 1/11/14:
On a side note, I have spoken to Derrick about this since I have gotten several reports in the last two weeks of auctions going wrong due to edited posts, loose rules, and the general use of the forums to maximize profits without incurring any of the risk in that endeavor. We will be crafting rules in the near future that will define what both a seller and a buyer can do when posting auctions and sale threads (and posting in them) on the forums.

And 24 hours later, the most relevant posts were from Stonewilled where he placed the 860k high bid on the deed at 5:34 PM EST, and from Sultan of Swing who placed the winning bids for the flowerpot and tree for 600k and 850k respectively at 7:06 PM, more than an hour before the end of the auction (and any reasonable invocation of bid sniping rules). Thus, as per the statements made by MortiKi, which does not include the unfettered authority to do whatever he would like so long as he states that he reserves that right, the auction is ended with Stonewilled as the winner for the deed at 860k, and Sultan of Swing as the winner for the flowerpot and tree at 600k and 850k respectively.** AUCTION WILL END IN 24 HOURS!! **
