I was all about mYm getting an arena, untill tonight. When i lost 2 chests to griefers and 1 so happened to have 2 mYm griefing me.

Dont ask for a community vote when all you do is grief the community. Fuck all of your pathetic lil tournaments you run no one cares when 90% of the time youre griefing the field.

I think it's very possible for a community (which include reds) to be a helpful and productive to the community. PVP and PKing for loot is part of gameplay, just like resource gathering, crafting, and PVM.

But PVP and Pking for the pleasure and purpose of making other player's gameplay experience miserable and unplayable is just sad.

One player calls checkmate in a "Good game, and may the best man win" scenario.
The other player calls checkmate to overpower and take joy in seeing the look of sadness and defeat in the opponent.

I'm not posting this in an accusatory fashion, nor am I naming anyone. I'm just making a statement. People need to re-evaluate not just what they do, but why they do what they do.

They're a pvp guild. How they play should have little bearing on their add-ons.

They want a duel pit to host tournaments, which they do often. They have to front their money/resources, and they are pretty active in hosting events. Much more active than ACE. I still say take out a duel pit and give it to them.

Hmmm. I have mixed feelings about this comment. I know what you're saying, though.

I feel that add-ons are special GIFTS. "Gifts" as in not to feel entitled to just because you have enough money/resources or host an event every now and then. I think they should be treated like medals for "going above and beyond the call of duty." Doing that as a PVP guild might be tricky, but it's still possible.

And I personally feel guilds shouldn't be exclusive to this reward, either. There are players who are more helpful then some entire guilds, but that's a topic for another day.

Now that keep deeds are unstealable, I believe they may be entrusted with a duel arena. I don't see why it should be very fancy though.

Duke Jones you're making it so clear that you have no intentions on "awarding" pkers and pvpers with any kind of rewards. I'll repeat my stance on it, as one of the most active pvpers..

mYm holds more PvP tournies *WHICH EVERYONE IS WELCOMED TO, NOT JUST PVPERS* than any other person holds PvM events - other than the good old B-Fizzle.

Most of them are care bears, who like to PvP, Pro was even an amat. Balarina growing up, so they are nice guys IRL. To do things like farming, and thunting, and all of that thinking it's risk free you are so far mistaken, this isn't trammel. mYm PvPers are much more active than 98% of the PvMers, I roam the dungeons quite often looking for people, anybody, blues.. reds.. oranges.. and most of the time the only person(s) I run into, are what do you know.. mYm..

They more than deserve getting this duel pit, and anyone arguing otherwise is just butthurt because they've been pked/pvper by them before, and/or griefed. They don't mind having to pay, like everyone else who has addons has done before them, we payed a couple 1,000 boards for our arena, for every tile of space used. ACE paid for theres, why shouldn't they be given the same oppurtunity we did. They're more helpful to the community than wise, or this thirsty clam thing that all the noobs are going to atm.

Just think.. if mYm wasn't here, ACE would keep going around thinking they are good, with only one other guild that they have to recall away from.. thus ruining any pvm there is!

Hell, if I was mYm I'd pk the hell out of everyone if they didn't get the addon, just because 90% of the no's are easily out of the spite, while the other 10% are voting no because of other stupid reasons.
