I'm still quite up on the idea of destroying everyone's hard work. Like I said, wipe everything. Implement a 1 client per ip, unless specifically allowed otherwise, and put a stop to all the macroing. UOSA would be a lot more interesting. Imagine, people gming their skills by hunting in the wild? GM craftables a rarity, with smiths plying their wares on the streets and doing repairs. PKs that were truly notorious as they had multiple gm skills and truly put fear into folks. A healthy player economy, housing space for all, actual meaning and achievement in gming skills... but meh, it's all a fantasy really , it ain't gonna happen. We're all too attached to our pixels to let anything change. It's a shame really, in my opinion it's the only thing that stops this shard from really being t2a I remembered.

If this does happen I am going to have to restructure some of my templates I made to enhance others though if not get rid of them all together.

I won't vote against it but it would be nice to know if it is being considered.

And if a shard wipe is being considered I'd like to bring a halt to any character creation on going now.

I think a shard wipe would be fun. Imagine all your big names running around as co-dependent newbs.

It would be like a prequel.

i would venture to say a shard wipe would never happen... unless it was the most extreme circumstances ever. you think limiting to one connection per ip would make people quit? i think a shard wipe would trump them all. i would gladly start over though as i am not attached.

I think he hasnt responded because the discussion was pretty heated, also he probably wants to see how it turns out.
A shard wipe would need vetern approval to be sure. Believe it or not I would love that. Seeing a virgin UO world.
Those not active in forums might not be too keen on it however.
And the one account thing being logged in at a time I am still in favour of now I know to what it pertains and to what degree.

ok people... for the last time... this thread is not about losing accounts and it never was... you can still have your 3 accounts and use all 3 of your accounts... its about the connections to the shard per ip simultaneously

Let's focus at one thing at a time. Which is the initial topic of multi clienting
That's how things like this never get attention..Once the initial topic is supported by enough people, than other stuff gets thrown in and the whole thing goes OT

I wasnt calling you out for anything, I personally believe that this thread hit on something that people could rally behind, specifically One account logged in at a time. Conversations about shard wipes will divide consensus, divert attention, and close open minds.
