UO Second Age

Did these colored ingot stacks and the pot of wax really spawn in T2A? I can't find any of these items in pictures of any UO rare museum, and the stratics forum shows a single auction for each, claiming they are server births. Every other item can be found and in most cases, in abundance thanks to new duping bugs that have came out on OSI over the years. Is it really possible they all have disappeared?

I thought that the rare system here was one of the only non accurate things allowed by the staff ? isnt it ?

well the 'timers' are purposely inaccurate.. As anyone back on era shards could chose between 20 servers that was based on their timezone. So you could camp server up and grab the stuff. That is not possible here. The same people would grab them daily for life. They have much larger spawn windows here to be equitable to all timezones.

the rares themselves should eb accurate spawns

some of the server birth items on OSI are long time spawners here... so yeah somehow it's all a matter of different timers, once or once every few weeks

yea if you know of itesm that arent spawning properly put it in the accuracy forum so it can be adjusted.
The rares that are spawning now are very differnet from when they started spawning beacuse of accuracy reports.

I see you have one of the metal chests aquired from an SOS but I have a different type of metal chest. No idea of it's price but I feel like it's worth more since I've personally never gotten one before

Both metal chests have been available from SoSs for some time now, with identical odds. Before that, there were just gold-trim shipwreck and silver-trim ogre loots.

Technically there are far fewer silver-trim out there though, since the gold-trim has spawned longer.

as a conclusion, the price of ogre loot chest has decreased significantly imo.

you should update the pricing on coal... ppl are buying them like mad for 25-30k

Bigoud doesn't play on this server anymore, so I would guess that he's not likely to update anything on this thread anytime soon.

That's a good idea. I thought about it, but I dont know enough about rares to do it myself.

I would like to see someone do it tho.
