UO Second Age

Tried everything I've read throughout these forums, but still no luck. I wanted to play here so badly, I even reinstalled Windows (was due for a clean sweep anyways) . Have all the latest files required to play, all provided form this site. I do game online with this PC and everything else works well. I'm running Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 3 with all the latest updates. Been trying for hours to get on. I would appreciate any help! This looks like a great community and I can't wait to actually play! Thanks!

You should just be able to type any name and password and you are good to go.

It stills hangs on the "verifying account" screen after I enter a account name and p word. Thanks anyways! I forgot to mention I've played other UO free shards in the past, but it's been a few years. I'm excited to get back into it!

what client ver. are you running and are you fully patched??

I used the patch app that was included in the UO client installer I downloaded here. The client says version 5.0.8.3 (patch 204) Do I still need to patch up? The included readme file told me not to, so thought I was good to go. Thanks for responding!

I just updated Razor, but that also didn't seem to help.

Yep, that was it! I thought I read NOT to check the client encryption button! I checked it, now I'm in. Thank you so much for the help, you guys are great. See you in game! Now I gotta decide a name for my character.
