If someone has you on target and chasing you and you hide, they can still run right to you and attack you with magic and weapons without using reveal or detect hidden?

It depends on the situation. Explain more?

Well two reds were chasing me, I went around a bend in the road and hit hide I was hid and they came around the bend straight to me like I was standing in plain view and unloaded on me without using reveal or detect hidden.This has happened to me and my sister and I was just wondering is this from having someone on last target or something that they dont have to reveal you or what.

Did you tab out of combat after hiding to avoid swinging at one of them when they walked next to you?

I wasnt in combat.

This sounds kinda suspicious then. Could it perhaps be reproduced?

So if you ran and hid.. and did not "tab out" (this just means hitting tab twice incase you didnt know), when they were within 1 pile of you...your char would auto defend (either with wrestle or your weapon) and become visable... Likely this happened and then they instahit you back.

This is just my guess as to what happened.

not saying this is what happened but it could very well be due to razors abilty to streach the play windows and the fact that some people use thier 50" tv's to play uo ... Thus they can see ALONG way farther then most people .. and though they were off your screen .. you may have never left their screen.

Whenever you hide, you should spam TAB a few times to be absolutely sure you're out of combat. Otherwise they just need to run up near you and you'll auto attack, revealing your location. I get people like this all the time.

Well the thing is the one guy as soon as he came around the bend hit me with magic then the other came up and hit me to so I t wasnt like he was just walking up to me and I auto hit him back ,but maybe this was the case as it did happen fast, but it really seemed like when they came around the corner they could see me standing there hid and then they unloaded on me because when the first spell hit me i was still greyed out like when your hid.

are you sure it wasnt a exploison pot (potion) that they threw at you? If they knew where you hid they probably threw a pot at your location. When it explodes you beocme visable.

I will be more aware of the tab out thing and pay closer attention next time. It may have been a timing thing and I didnt realize because it was all happening pretty fast. I think I'm going to have to hire some Killers to escort me around lol

Some AOE spells will damage and reveal you. Earthquake will for sure, and possibly chain lightning and meteor swarm if targeted within a certain range of where you're standing. But normal spells like flamestrike or ebolt cannot be targeted on someone hidden. I don't think you could even hack around that. More than likely you auto-defended or they purple potted you. I know its happened to me.
