They're just weapons but i just want it for when i get my full set of pheonix armor and pure mare and hued mask I will be so sexy!

For me it's purely aesthetic but the most bad-ass ones used to drain all mana in one hit.

the glacial staves on uosa have no properties except that of a store bought black staff.
They also will not melt if you release it driz

they are grandfathered in.
