Purple potions

Is it normal that we cant see when someone is chucking a purple potions?.. Were not seeing the 3...2...1... only the potions when its exploding on you

is the potion itself not showing up at all? Or is i the timer you're worried about?

Well mostly the timer.. I understand that Im not going to see the pots if its perfectly timed..
But Im wondering why cant see when people are chucking a pot? (Timer) Its not he like person was drinking it in his backpack..
Is it because it was this way in the era?

You cannot see the timer because of accuracy reasons, however explosion potions are fairly inaccurate still:
