POST WHAT U SAID AS WELL SO WE KNOW WHO LIKES IT AND WHY ETC.

I VOTED NO B/C the fact most spells only give a 70% interupt, spell damage is too weird and horse stam is a joke.

What are these "most spells"?

How is horse stamina a joke?

What is wrong with spell damage?

That is actually a relevant post. You give vague and broad answers, he asks for specifics... rough concept, I know.

Fair point.

Horse stamina runs out within 2 screens its not exactly a fun task to have to mount/remount during a guild fight and lose all the action.

Spell damage is too random and it requires far too much luck at the moment to kill someone they need to be more consistent.

and most spells are basically anything under lvl 7 spells means that people can gheal through it.

Is horse fatigue accurate now or is something wrong?

I fed my mare and put it in a room while I dueled for 20 minutes. I then got on the mare and ran out of my tower and 1 screen north and it fatigued. If it's accurate that is cool because playing on foot is much more fun, but it seems like something is wrong .

Having to distmount/remount that takes a total of one second hardly seems like a problem that would kill "action" as described.

Spell damage is accurate and doesn't seem a problem at all. When you have a 54% chance to resist a sixth circle spell that cuts the damage in half seems very reasonable for such a skill.

How about we input some statistics on your "greater heal" disrupt to imply some simple facts here based on specific spell circle damage?

By default there is a 70% chance to interrupt a great heal spell at 1 damage.
Spell Interruption By Spell Circle Damage wrote: First - 79% Resist Chance
Non-Resist - Resisted
Min: 76% - 70%
Max: 79% - 73%

Second - 74% Resist Chance
Min: 76% - 70%
Max: 91% - 79%

Third - 69% Resist Chance
Min: 84% - 76%
Max: 100% - 86%

Fourth - 64% Resist Chance
Min: 84% - 76%
Max: 100% - 93%

Sixth - 54% Resist Chance
Min: 93% - 81%
Max: 100% - 100%

Seventh - 49% Resist Chance
Min: 97% - 84%
Max: 100% - 100%
Your claim that all spells below 7th has a 70% chance to interrupt a greater heal spell being casted is a flat out lie.

This may have been "in era" but it was certainly gone by Nov '99.

Edit: Umm, either you guys are exaggerating a ton or you happened to tame some mental retarded horses. Seems fine to me.

Said no

1. Weapon speed is crazy weird. One second your war fork/short spear is swinging crazy fast, lose a fraction of stamina and it becomes slow like a fuckin hally (and I'm talking with 120 dex.) I can't help but think everything is rounded down/up on calcs, to the point where 1 sta makes a huge difference so if you aren't max, you're losing a considerable amount of speed.

2. Excessive wiffs. For being at 50%, I seem to always end up in the wiff section, which is a luck benefit if I'm fighting a mage.

I voted NO. I love the shard, but the mechanics here for me have made the shard rather dull.

I voted yes

Some shit still seems off, mini heal being one of them, but in the last 5mo I have seen an improvement in pvp mechanics. Disrupt seems like it needs tinkering with. I also think the range in 6th lvl spells is quite high, but to be honest its actually quite useful to offset the excessive min heal spamming alot of newbicuses have resorted to.

It still fun and playable, I suspect more changes are coming too.

For example, this mount change will have huge implications on excessive running. Might seem minor but it is a very big and accurate change.

I just figured that I should throw in some more statistical data for spell interruption based on the complaints of the original poster...

Created a debug program that generated spell interruption data on a greater heal spell using the following spells for damage output. Here is real scenario generating data from a million spells casted from each category with the number of spell interruptions.
Magic Arrow
726570/1000000 = 273430 <--- Amount of non-interrupted.

Harm
768069/1000000 = 231931 <--- Amount of non-interrupted.

Fireball
844786/1000000 = 155214 <--- Amount of non-interrupted.

Lightning
871987/1000000 = 128013 <--- Amount of non-interrupted.

Ebolt - Explosion
932633/1000000 = 67367 <--- Amount of non-interrupted.

Flamestrike
952781/1000000 = 47219 <--- Amount of non-interrupted.
This data took resist into consideration too...
