Desperatly Need to Change Something

is it considered AFK Macroing, if you fall Asleep while Fishing?
Seriousely ... went out fishing for 2 hours today and almost fell asleep,
I would like to put in a request to Increase the Serpent Spawn! (since we can no longer fish them up)
I might as well be fishing Naked! with nothing but my fishing pole in my hand!

That's why I think the in-game macro system should be the only approved macro system in UO. There's a reason why the developers made it as limited as it was. Allowing anything, other than what the creators intended for the players, it taking the gaming away from it's created intent.

but then as you say ... we are not doing that by allowing Razor...
Razor is NOT era Accurate!
but then how boring would that make fishing?

Here's where I'm torn.
I agree a game should be fun.
But if you don't like fishing, don't be a fisherman. I mean that's what 99% of fishing is.
You sit.
You fish.
You wait.
You fish again.
If you wanna go fight monsters, go PvM.

ALL resource gathering skills have the dangers of running into monsters. (except fishing at the moment)
there seems to be a 0 chance of even seeing any monsters while fishing,

oh, well then you need not worry about that!
Derrick has been working on increasing the spawn rates of Water eles and serps.

Fishing takes dedication.
But if you look at it in a Risk vs Reward way we fishermen have it made.
Current Risks:
Random spawn of Water Element or Serpent....or Dolphin (oh Noes!)
Slim Chance of running into someone else on the open sea (what like >1%)
Current Reward
MIBs
Treasure Maps
Special Fish
MIBS
900-3k gold out right
sunken wreckage loot
1-8 Gems
Magic Items
Regs
* They arn't Locked or Trapped
* No monster spawn on pull up
Treasure Maps
Lvl 1 & 2(rare)
*Same of MIBs minus the wreakage loot
* Locked & Trapped
*Spawn on digging
Only thing that it really takes is Time;
Time to fish the MIBs & Time to fish the Chest

Well, one thing that must be noted is that Fishing is (profitably speaking) worthless, until 90.0 and that's just to fish up lvl 1 T-maps. Yay...
And then you only get good loot at GM. That means you practically have to burn one GM skill before you can even start to make gold.

True fishing isn't very profitable until 90+ but it takes dedication.
Setting out on the high seas, nothing but you, your pole, and a bunch of water.
Of course while fishing you could always work on other skills, Inscription, or have a friend on the boat and work on Resist, or wrestling.
The possibilities are there.

i just macroed on shore til 93 skill and now gettin maps
just did that while playin on other acc
easy squeezy lemon peazy, gotta be one of the easiest skills to afk up, so i dont think the time arguement is very convincing! !!!!
