I've found it always tracks the character on the right-most window on the windows status bar thing. So probably the most recently opened Razor/UO client.
Whenever I want to switch, I just X out, and re-open a new Razor/UO and load my character I want to track in that one.

I think it goes by the first UO client window open.

In your system tray, it always tracks the razor icon on the left.

WOW. So much wrong information.
Mikel123 is correct. UOAM tracks the most recently opened client, ONLY.
orionsune > no, since the most recently opened one would be on the right.
hiicha > no, most recently opened.
Kabal > razor's positioning system tracks your party, UOAM would have to have everyone linked in, and would still only track the most currently opened client.
Flower, as for your problem, no idea. You've got to be doing something wrong, although I don't know how it's possible to do something wrong since it only works one way. There is absolutely no way to set it or lock it to a specific account or character. It will ALWAYS track the most recently opened client. That's just how it works.
I'd suggest getting the last beta copy ever made if this is not the one you have already, and give it a try.

I was talking about the razor icon in the system tray not the taskbar. You know, that little thing on the right of your taskbar that show your time? I just tested this.
