Do you like crap from shipwrecks? I've got all kinds of it. Some is just laying on the floor not even locked down. The rest, you guessed it, is priced at an amazingly low 111 gp per item, as seen in this screen shot.

Head to the Moonglow Telescope. Very easy to get to, just take teh first teleportor on the right, then head east to the telescope. If you've never seen the telescope, yit's really worth the trip just to check it out, it's comprized of many curious analogy mechanical gizmos and has astrological symbols surrounding it.

Incidentally, I'm also selling a brand new super-accurate halberd of vanquishing. But I want more than 111 gp for it. Post bids here.

Wow, a lot of it got bought out already! I'll continue restocking the shipwreck stuff as I obtain it.

I should warn ppl though, those treasure maps are in dangerous/difficult locations.

Did you already decode them? Because I thought a patch went in where once a map is decoded by someone it can only be dug up by that person...?

Cuz I had that discussion the last time I sold tmaps a few days ago, and the buyer said he was able to decode them.

Hmmm... the second character opened up the map, but didn't get the message "you sucessfully decode the map" but did get the "Go grab a shovel and dig it up!"

I'll stop selling them until I know for sure just to be safe.

If you have that second character go try and dig up the map after another character decoded it and they are able to then it should be fine. I'm not 100% sure myself, and really am not trying to interfere with your sales or anything!

The cartographer who decoded the map is supposed to be the only one who can dig it up, this was implemented not too long ago.

If you plan on selling the maps they have to be undecoded or you can offer the maps with your services, add a book next to them for people to PM you for details. It would be a good way to advertise your expertise as a treasure hunter and would give you a wide range of social interaction with alot of people and groups who are missing a cartographer.

LOL, I have zero cartography. I can only do LVL ones. I've found MIBs are much better, cuz you get lvl 2s & 3s and the occasional metal chest.

(Which reminds me, I also have two metal chests for sale @ 10k each. PM if anyone wants them..)

I guess I've sold 2k in bogus maps then.... ooops. I will just stop selling tmaps altogether (or buying them!), since there's no way to distinguish between a decoded and undecoded map.

Once you decode a map, only you can dig it up.

Note to buyers: Unless Lil Meiyang plans on digging up the maps for you, if it doesn't say "tattered" in the title, it's been decoded and is useless to you.

Hey, the last thread I sold them on I said I'd return the money if he couldn't decode them. The buyer actually contacted me through this messageboard and told me he was able to. Maybe we were both confused, or he never bothered to msg me back ltr about it cuz it was only a small loss of around 1k. So I figured it was fine and sold another 1k worth, then stopped when the question re-arose.

So don't insuate I'm scamming here.

Thanks for the info though. I and others perhaps hadn't realized that "tattered" is undecoded, if it just says "a treasure map" it's already been decoded.... and useless to anyone else. I'll just start tossing the PIA ones from now on.
