Meditation / AR vs Armor Type.

Its the nonmagical AR of armor that effects passive meditation correct, not the value of magical properties it may posess?

Or to say whether I wear a leather tunic of invulnerability or a vendor bought leather tunic, passive meditation would be the same for both right?

And it would be the same for other skills that are affected by AR as well, true?

Everything points that direction, just need verification.

Its been soooooo long, but I do believe AR value had a big influence on stealth checks.

But it should be calculated by base AR ratings of the armor types, not taking in consideration damaged armor, magical effects or quality. I mean that would be my guess.

That's correct. The magical, and even the exceptional bonuses have no effect on meditation, or on stealth.

How much does a full set of leather effect passive and active regen?

About half as much as it would if it was metallic

Basically if you wear leather and have meditation, it's probably going to be on either a rogue or a hybrid mage dexxer. Invulnerable leather gives pretty decent ar ratings. If magery is a secondary offense or just for consistant traveling if you plan on getting into overwhelming melee conflict but need some mana reserve it might be a good way to go depending on your template.

For example this isn't a tourney template, more or less a wild berserker on the field. I dont care if he dies but wont push counts past 5, His name will be Eyebiter and if you encounter him you'll know what to expect...and if you defeat him good job, no hard feelings at all and hope you enjoy the loot. He is Chaotic Neutral for you Rpers.

Swords
Tactics
Anatomy 80
Healing 90
Resist 90
Magery 90
Evaluating Intelligence 80
Meditation 70

100/75/50...enough dex to one second instant.

I wanted a pseudo blue PK/PVM I didnt need to ghost with that would be traveling around everywhere so needed to bank regularly. He wont just attack anybody whenever wherever.
