Louisiana – Natchitoches Parish Fatal Crash
Last night, a crash involving two vehicles killed one person and injured five others.
Troopers responded to the crash around 9:30 pm, which occurred on LA Hwy 117 near LA Hwy 118. The crash involved a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria, driven by Marlon E. Freeney (B/M 31 yrs) of Natchitoches, LA and a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by Carolyn M. Dickerson (O/F 22 yrs) of Fort Polk, LA. The Ford was north bound on LA Hwy 117 when Freeney lost control and exited the right side of the roadway. The Ford then reentered the roadway and crossed the centerline causing the south bound Chevrolet to collide with it.

Collier (B/F 29 yrs), both of DeRidder, LA, were passengers in Freeney’s vehicle. Collier was wearing her seatbelt and received moderate injuries. She was transported to Natchitoches Regional Hospital. Urquhart III was not wearing his seatbelt and was pronounced dead.

I knew him as one of the best RPers and dexxers on this shard, I had my moments with him but he was definitely a great character, will be missed.

Sadly, I never got the honor to meet him in game. This is a sad thing to hear about. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. While we trash talk and argue with one another, we must always remember this is just a game. Take nothing anyone says personally, because I know I would feel bad losing anyone in our UO community. Take care Thomas A Urquhart III.

This is very sad for me to hear. We spent way less than enough time chatting. I miss Xuk.

It's just a game, but he really did bring a lot to this shard and community as a leader and organizer of a some fun shard events. If anyone remembers the
orcish roadblocks back in January, he was the mastermind behind that. Also a fierce competitor in #irpg.
I also understand (his words) he was an excellent cook and network admin, and dreamed of playing UO from work but struggled with the morality of it. He knew what MSDOS was.

Very sad, indeed. One of the greats of the shard.

I'm very sorry to hear this, Xuk was a stand-up guy, I always got along with him REALLY well....he always used to say "I'll wind up getting you to create an orc char". Never got around to it and although my playtime on here is non existent right now I know the community just took a hit. Myself and majority of my guild got along very well with the Orcs (Loops also knew Xukky prior to UOSA as I just told him via vent). If I needed something Xukky would help if he was on, and vice versa. If you knew Xuk you liked him, if you didn't then you missed out. It's been sometime since I've seen him in-game but my prayers go out to his family.

Couldn't agree with your more Paroxysmus.
Be safe everyone. I am sure Thomas is looting that great IDOC in the sky.

I did not not know this man IRL or in game (and I'm sad I will not have the chance) I call on all that have lost loved ones over the years of UO(I lost my oldest brother in my UO time, {thank god for my UO support}) to ban together .. lets all vote this man into the museum so his memory can be up held ..
I'll start with a donation of 50k for a statue of this man to be built, and of course my vote YES to have him added to our find selection of UOSA best. I do know things may have changed with vendor dressing changes but I hope in this case staff could see fit to lend a hand with arrangements.

sigh

Xukky was such an awesome guy, loved pvping, didn't care about dying, if he was down a few people he'd just summon daemons on his mage to replace them and end up fighting 1v3/4/5 all the time, constantly. He was an awesome urk, awesome leader, awesome friend, and is irreplaceable. Xukky will be sorely missed by the Urks, this is yet another big blow we've received. Hopefully his family will be alright

a loss of a fellow bloodrock, & a UO player is always a sad loss for the community, and really lays down the point that in IRL there is no healer, I wish you all the best Xukky to your family, friends and loved ones my heart and thoughts transcend past any means of being able to express myself.
