Stealth Help Plz

what is the lowest dex needed to be able to stealth. I was making a stealth mage. I gm stealth but when I try to move I come unhid . Gm Hide GM stealth but I have 25 dex. Any help please thanks

I believe stealth is only keyed to hiding ability.
And my char is stealthed right now with a dex of 25.
Edit: at 95 stealth I just took 9 steps before coming "unhidden". What are you doing when walking stealthed? Are there any other variables?

you don't need dex! with GM stealth u can move 10 steps.
make sure your "you will always run if this is clicked" in the options is not on.
you need to walk while in stealth.
also, if you push through someone/something you become visible.

Also, high armor will keep you from stealthing.

Do you have to use the stealth button or does it check? I hide then move but am visable.

use hide skill, wait 10 seconds
use stealth skill, walk.... max 10 steps.
need to wait another 10 seconds to use stealth again.

Is someone using detect hidden?

when i set it to a hot key macro thingie it works
