UO Second Age

Issue: Cannot equip Smith's Hammer.

Problem: When I move hammer from inventory to hand on paperdoll, the hammer reverts back to my pack.

Expected Outcome: Hammer equips in right hand on paperdoll.


Other: I don't remember removing the last Smith's Hammer I had equiped. I did at some point equip a lantern. The hammer will not equip regardless of whether or not I am carrying the lantern.

have you tried to close and reopen your cli. may be out of sync.

I closed out razor and tried on another I had opened. I'll try again in a little bit after closing out everything.

Closed everything out, started with fresh client and tried to equip smith's hammer... won't happen.

I don't remember ever being able to equip a smiths Hammer,


a Sledge Hammer yes .. but never a Smiths hammer

The odd thing is this. When I hold it over the paperdoll, it shows the hammer in the char's hand. As soon as I release, it drops back to the pack.


I had one equipped (on this server) before. And on OSI (pre era) I kept one equipped at all times, my smith was a macer too. If somehow I'm getting the hammer wrong (pretty sure I'm not because of the image change), then someone tell me if they know for sure that I am.

Aye this is a bug introduced last Monday, will be fixed soon.
It only applies to newly created smith hammers (in the last week)
