UO Second Age

Hello,

I'm completely new to this server and it's been a very long time since I played UO. The last time I played was on a shard called The Alter Realm in like 2001 . I just wanted to say hello and that I really appreciate the wiki page and I look forward to playing here.

Just a quick question. What is the current cookie cutter pvp build? Is it something like this:

100str/100int/25dex

GM Magery
GM Evaluating Intelligence
GM Meditation
GM Resisting Spells
GM Wrestling
GM Swordsmanship (Hally weapon)
GM Tactics

I took this directly from the wiki page but wouldn't there be better options instead of meditation for example? Would you guys suggest this if I plan to be pvping a lot eventually? Should I change anything?

Not that I play one .. but you did seem to ask for a cookie cutter temp. So yes with era acc. mech. it makes sense to play a tank mage .. your swing speed is only needed for insta hit with hally .. so 25 dex .. who care about the follow up .. its slow no matter what .. no need for parry with hally ..with med you can passively gain extra mana .. plus give you get the chance to really hit a med macro and not move.. tac. to a damage mod. for you now massive hally hit (if your gm swords gm tac. with a hally of vanq and all that .. ) resis talks for its self .. and of course wres. helps you pull off spells while in combat .. so

Yeah makes for an all around good char that can be pretty easy and rewarding to play .. though I think the people that are most thought of are those that find other ways and make the game more interesting.
