UO Second Age

Hey,

I'm new and I read that provocation is one of the best ways to make money for someone new to the server. My provocation is almost GM'd but I have no idea where to go to start making money. I tried exploring and thought about some dungeons but they seem so far from any city. It's a pain without mark/recall and only 50 magery. Can anyone suggest some decent spots for someone just starting out? Preferably a close place to a healer/res spot and a bank. Thanks.

Covetous LV 1 has the harpy room right by the entrance. It's not insane money, but its how i got my start.

It's close to vesper/Minoc, and there's always healers around (hard to find one when you need it but they're there).

Definitely invest in magery, it'll open up so many more options for you. The big money for provoking comes with risk, as pks frequent good hunting spots.

There's a double balron spawn in t2a
there's the dragons in destard
the lich lord room has a lich and a lich lord
The fire temple has dragon, drake, daemon, and some fire eles

If you go visit a rune library, it can give you some areas to hunt, only thing is u need magery to use

Alot of people just place a small house around destard. And just run in there with nothing but a instrument on them. If you can't afford a house just bring some regs and macro recall at the first sight of any pks. There will be times where you will be able to farm some dragons for a bit and get some decent gold. If you have to just bank at ever 2-3k you get if you have to. When you are new the last thing you want to be is greedy. Also if you run in Destard go due West and keep running until you can go down a level. Then when you go down you will see another passage to go down due east, but don't go down there that is where the Ancient Wyrm is that is the strongest monster in the game I think. Instead from this point just go south and fight the drakes and the one or two dragons around there. Not to many pks even bother going down here, they usually check the main pit and the AW spawn.

Yeah forgot about this one, the spawn here is crazy good. If you run out of monsters to kill there are always stacks more back in the temple.
