T2A handbook says it's targetable. Demo scripts show the same.

Right...because there are documented changes.Valdric Flagg wrote:See proof, that just because its in the demo script doesnt mean its accurate.Hemperor wrote:T2A handbook says it's targetable. Demo scripts show the same.

Even if there isnt documented changes, the demo isnt GOD.Hemperor wrote:Right...because there are documented changes.Valdric Flagg wrote:See proof, that just because its in the demo script doesnt mean its accurate.Hemperor wrote:T2A handbook says it's targetable. Demo scripts show the same.

The demo is a very powerful researching tool that is practically indisputable without any documentation to counter it. For example, the issue above was a clear indication of the process to rule out the demo mechanic. However, spell interruption chance is a perfect example of something that would not be possible to replicate without the decompiled demo code. There are a vast amount of other game mechanics besides spell interruption that falls under this category. When there is no documentation to disprove a game mechanic that exists in the demo it's highly likely that it still existed in the t2a era and on many occassions in UO to this very day. A great example of something that still exists in modern EA shards is the equip delay.Valdric Flagg wrote: Even if there isnt documented changes, the demo isnt GOD.
