This coming Tuesday December 8th 8 PM EST
(changed to 8 pm due to automated event)

UoH will be hosting a mage pvp tournament

10k Entry fee

This tournament will have a unique ruleset.

You will enter the arena as a ghost and be ressurected once inside.
You will be supplied with your gear at the contest.
Every contestant will be given the same bag of equipement to start the tournament.
When your have defeated your opponent you will loot them for restock.
There will be no outside restocking permitted.
It will be advantagous for you to kill your opponent quickly.
The location of this tournament will be announced on the day.
You must remove your opponents head and put it in a bag.

Your bag of equipement will include

New Gm crafted weapons
Potions
Reagants
Pouches
Food

Tournament rules: Basic standard mage duel rules

Can bring nothing into the arena
You can use only the items provided or looted from your opponent
No summoning
No field spells
No restocking
No leaving the arena

If you violate these rules you will be disqualified.

Prizes TBA - but will include the loot from every opponent in the tourny as it accumulates to one person and their heads of course.

Seriously though... what weapons will be provided?

I'd hate to pay 10k and show up with my archer and get a spear and a halberd to choose from

all useful pvp weapons for any template
for archers you will geta heavy xbow and a bow with arrows included
equipment that you dont want to use or carry just leave on the ground and we will remove it

great idea, unfortunately when i was at full health and guerilla is at 20% about to die, my client freezes for 10+ seconds and i come back dead.

great tournament idea although bs like this happens too often, not sure if its uo or my computer and it really makes playing pointless.

Your archer mage will get annihilated anyway
