UO Second Age

My first attempt at blacksmithing is in the near future and with bags full of junk weps/ar from doing Tmaps/chests my question is, is there a required level of skill needed to smelt items or can i do it with low skill to collect ingots?

I think it all depends on your mining skill. And in that case you want to have a fairly high amount of mining to smelt them properly. Don't quote me on that though I could be wrong.

Yeah its dependant on mining skill. At GM you get around 2/3 the ingots back.
