UO Second Age

Quick question about house decay:
When a house decays, are we supposed to receive a deed or gold or anything like that or is it just flat out gone?

I know all items within are gone, but for some reason I was thinking at least the original value wasn't lost...

If a house decays, it's gone and cannot be recovered, no deed is returned. Some items within the house will fall to the ground and can be taken by anyone if they get to it before these items decay as well.

Ouch. So moral of the story is: Visit often or demolish it yourself.
