UO Second Age

Hi everyone!

I found your shard after some web browsing and decided to check out this old-school classic game that I played a little back in the day. It looks like you have a fun, thriving community of players.

So the problem I'm having is that I have slowly saved up enough gold in my bank to buy a house. When I try to move the gold to my inventory/main backpack it tells me that the container cannot hold it. Apparently I cannot carry the 23,800 gold that I need to make my house purchase at the architech.

I imagine there is a simple answer, but I just can't figure it out. I found some other house tips on these forums but nothing addressing this issue.

well, just buy the deed! the money will be taken directly out of your bank container.

I was just thinking the same thing lol, Im sure it was probablly a typo (I think)

At 100 str, the max gold you can carry is 20,000g. Small house deed = 43,800g.

43,800g - 20,000g = 23,800g.
